Usu Application is a non-profit organization whose mission is to be the center of campus life, and they have been doing this since 1874. They started as a humble society of student debaters, and they take pride in being one of the few independent, student-led organizations in Australia. It consists of 13 directors, of which 11 are elected by members and 2 are appointed by the University Senate. Usu Application provides important lessons, services and facilities to improve campus life for thousands of people who join and interact with them. All the income it receives will be reinvested into their organizations to benefit current and future university community members. Their mission, to celebrate the diversity of their communities, and to work with them to provide inclusive programs, activities and services in their safe and welcoming spaces.
