Strictly Medicinal Seeds is technically a medical institution, located in the southern Oregon town of Williams. Back in 1985 their family (the cech family, pronounced "inspection") started Strictly Medicinal Seeds, planting a variety of herbal gardens. Because they were fascinated with seeds and herbs and couldn't find seeds for many of the herbs they were interested in, they started collecting seeds from their garden and selling them through a home catalog of handmade illustrations. The cover of the first catalog was a marigold by Nadja, then 8. They still have that catalogue somewhere! Many seasons come and go, always bringing them closer to their goal of understanding the proper habitat, the need for germination, the life cycle and the use of this totally different and fascinating herb, perm and vegetable plant.
