Guineys first opened in Thomas Street, Dublin, in 1971, offering premium discounted bedding, curtains and home furnishings. Over the decades that followed, the family business quickly established itself as a leader in providing high-quality affordable bedding and accessories. From Egyptian plush cotton sheets to soft-to-the-touch duvet covers, pillows and blankets, as well as ready curtains and curtain rods, it is synonymous with high-value, high-quality products. In 1992, the success of it in Dublin led the company to open its first store on Oliver Plunkett Street, in the heart of Cork.
